Sacred Heart

In October 2025, a small independent film opened in 155 French cinemas. Within weeks it was playing on more than 300 screens and had sold over half a million tickets, one of the year's most surprising box office stories in France. Sacred Heart: His Reign Has No End tells the story behind one of the Church's most beloved devotions. In 1673, in a convent in Paray-le-Monial, Jesus revealed His Sacred Heart to a young nun, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. Blending dramatic reenactments with real testimonies, the film follows that message across 350 years, to the people whose lives it is still changing today. The film made headlines when its posters were refused in the Paris metro and a city tried to cancel a screening, until a court let it go ahead. Audiences came anyway. Now you can watch it at home on Credo.
